Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of shipping personnel, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and prioritize daily shipping activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.
• Collaborate with production, sales and logistics to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with inventory control teams to maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards and company policies to create a safe workplace.
• Implement and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and minimize errors in shipping operations.
• Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule shipments and resolve issues.
• Regularly analyze performance metrics and KPIs and produce reports for improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage ideas for enhancements.
• Maintain accurate documentation including training records and compliance paperwork.
