The Shipping Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the shipping operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of shipping personnel, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure smooth operations.

• Plan, coordinate, and prioritize daily shipping activities to meet production schedules and customer demands.

• Collaborate with various departments such as production, sales, and logistics to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with inventory control teams to maintain accurate records and minimize discrepancies.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies to create a safe and secure working environment.

• Implement and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and minimize errors in shipping operations.

• Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule shipments

• Investigate and resolve any shipping issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Regularly analyze performance metrics and KPIs, producing reports to evaluate the effectiveness of shipping operations and identify areas for improvement.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and suggestions for operational enhancements.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including training records, reports, and compliance paperwork.
