Job summary

Case Farms, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join our shipping office in North Carolina. You will support daily operations, manage manifest logs, prepare kill certificates, and generate bills of lading for outgoing trucks, while handling calls from drivers and customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, office experience, and solid communication and computer skills. The role requires multitasking, organization, and accuracy in shipping processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Office experience preferred.
• Able to sit/stand in alternating positions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of the shipping process.
• Maintain inventory controls and proper product rotation.
• Good computer literacy; familiarity with Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Shipping Supervisor.
• Maintain manifest logs and keep trailer information up to date.
• Complete paperwork for USDA-certified loads (Kill Certificates).
• Prepare bills of lading for outgoing trucks.
• Handle phone system in the Shipping office for drivers, sales, customers, and plant operations.
• Perform data entry of shipping information into the system.
• Handle various office and administrative duties.
• May be assigned other duties or projects as needed.
