Job summary

nonphoneworkathome is seeking a Materials Handler for Shipping on the 2nd shift. You will build pallets, read SKUs, and ensure timely flow of products. The role requires reading instructions, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs in a cold to cool environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, and willing to cross-train across departments, with overtime or weekend hours as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and labels.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate product sorting and handling.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures ranging from -10°F to 40°F.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Able to work assigned shift hours, including overtime or weekends if required.
• Willingness to cross-train and assist in other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets according to storage specifications, ensuring pallet pattern meets all requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance specifications are met.
• Physically stack and unstack pallets.
• Support the shipping line by maintaining a constant flow of product or removal.
• Read SKU numbers and sort product by size/ SKU of box to prepare for loading.
• Perform other duties and work in other departments as assigned.
• Adhere to all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelines.
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance.
