Job summary

Sterling Technologies, Incorporated is seeking a Shipping Clerk to manage the shipping department, prepare outgoing shipments, and receive large pallet inbound freight. You will organize inventory for quick retrieval and monitor schedules to sustain productive operations, while documenting inventory damages.

You will work on your feet, frequently bending and lifting up to 50 lbs (75 lbs occasionally), and operate warehouse equipment like forklifts, scales, and pallet jacks to ensure timely order

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming large pallet shipments.
• Organize inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in.
• Review shipment schedules to maintain productive operations.
• Document damages to inventory for records.
• Keep detailed records of outgoing shipments for end-of-day review.
• Operate warehouse equipment like scales, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Assist in material prep and movement for production materials to teams.
• Support other areas to ensure timely product shipping.
