Job summary

OPTI Staffing in Tigard, OR is hiring a Shipping Assistant to join a hands-on manufacturing team. The role coordinates shipping, packaging, receiving, and material movement, with a Monday–Friday day shift and $22 per hour.

You will use an MRP/ERP system, prep shipping docs for domestic and international shipments, and stay on top of deadlines. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in shipping/receiving or warehousing, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in shipping, receiving, warehouse or related roles.
• Experience with MRP/ERP inventory systems.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Process outbound shipments using an MRP system.
• Verify orders and enter data accurately.
• Package products and prepare shipping docs for domestic/international shipments.
• Coordinate freight pickups and communicate with carriers.
• Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
