Job summary

REELCRAFT Industries is seeking a warehouse Material Handler to operate an electric forklift, move, package and stage materials for shipment. You will load/unload trailers, ensure accurate product codes, and maintain safe, organized warehouse procedures.

The role requires a High School diploma and forklift license or ability to obtain one; prior material handling experience is preferred. Workweek typically Monday through Friday with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-6 months of experience as a Material Handler preferred.
• Must have a current forklift license or be able to obtain one.
• Must understand Inventory Process and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers, containers and the box truck.
• Ensure products are packaged, banded and wrapped for shipment.
• Select, stage and prepare items for shipment.
• Ensure accuracy of selected products, both in quantity and product code to Bill of Lading.
• Frequently lifting boxes weighing between 10-30 pounds; occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Assist with pulling Grainger orders as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
• Adhere to all company and department safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers, containers and the box truck
• Ensure products are properly packaged, banded and wrapped for shipment
• Select, stage and prepare items for shipment
• Ensure accuracy of selected products, both in quantity and product code to Bill of Lading
• Frequently lifting boxes weighing between 10 -30 pounds; occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Education and/or Experience:

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, BOL/BOM, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Speak audibly, and present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
