Job summary

Reelcraft Industries, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support our warehouse operations in Indiana. The role includes loading/unloading, preparing shipments, and ensuring accurate product quantities and codes for Bills of Lading.

Employees must have or obtain a forklift license, and perform tasks with attention to safety while lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 months of Material Handler experience preferred.
• Must have forklift license or ability to obtain one.
• Understand Inventory Process and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers, containers and the box truck.
• Ensure products are properly packaged, banded and wrapped for shipment.
• Select, stage and prepare items for shipment.
• Verify accuracy of quantities and product codes against the Bill of Lading.
• Frequently lift boxes weighing 10–30 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Assist with pulling Grainger orders as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
• Adhere to all company and department safety requirements.

Job description

Operating an electric forklift to gather, move, deliver and store materials as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers, containers and the box truck
• Ensure products are properly packaged, banded and wrapped for shipment
• Select, stage and prepare items for shipment
• Ensure accuracy of selected products, both in quantity and product code to Bill of Lading
• Frequently lifting boxes weighing between 10 -30 pounds; occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
• Assist with pulling Grainger orders as required
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse.
• Adhere to all company and department safety requirements

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required. 3-6 months of experience as a Material Handler preferred.

Qualification Requirements:

Must have a current forklift license or be able to obtain one. Must understand Inventory Process and Procedures.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, BOL/BOM, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Speak audibly, and present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
