Job Summary

The Material Handler performs all duties associated with the receiving, storage, tracking and shipping of inventory.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and communication to the sales and customer service representatives.
• Receive incoming material and process related paperwork.
• Safely operate forklifts and other Powered Industrial Trucks.
• Ship material to customers and outside processing suppliers and process related paperwork.
• Store inventory in a neat and orderly fashion following a FIFO process.
• Pull inventory on a FIFO schedule.
• Perform physical inventory.
• Keep the warehouses clean and orderly.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Are reliable, punctual, and mechanical
• Are willing to be forklift certified and have two or more years of forklift experience
• Have experience processing production and logistic paperwork and using operating software
• Basic mathematical skills required
• Can lift up to 55 pounds

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements

Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.

Must meet the following basic requirements:

1. No vision problems that cannot be corrected by glasses or contacts.
2. No hearing loss that cannot be corrected with hearing aids.
3. No physical impairments (including neurological, balance, or consciousness issues) that affect:
   1. Perception
   2. Vision
   3. Physical abilities

Starting Pay

$22/HR
