Job summary

Cimolai-HY LLC is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to oversee blast and shipping operations in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating outbound shipments, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will plan workloads, manage schedules, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime while maintaining compliance. The position emphasizes leadership, attention to detail, and effective communication to drive efficiency, safety, and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

3-5 years’ experience in logistics, inventory, warehousing, material handling, heavy equipment or shipping.
Thorough understanding of DOT Rules and Regulations and familiarity with shipping processes.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, steel fabrication processes, heavy equipment, and freight coordination.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead employees, coordinating training, assigning tasks, and providing guidance.
Plan work to achieve priorities efficiently while maintaining quality and safety.
Monitor finished product movements and coordinate with procurement to ensure supplies.
Oversee production schedule, troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain work records and assist technicians with machine/system troubleshooting.
Oversee rigging operations and occasional heavy rigging.
Operate forklifts, cranes, and manlifts as necessary.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and enforce safe practices.
