Job summary

AirLife is seeking a Shipping Supervisor for our Phoenix Distribution Center. You will lead administrative warehousing operations, promote productivity and growth, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in supply chain, 2+ years leading a team, and strong knowledge of shipping processes, with bilingual abilities preferred. The role requires flexibility for overtime and varied shifts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of supply chain experience including distribution center, inventory, and transportation.
2+ years of experience leading a team.
Bilingual preferred (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

Track productivity, accuracy, and attendance of associates and provide coaching as needed.
Coordinate with customer service, 3PLs, and freight carriers to confirm pickup times and resolve issues.
Provide training and performance feedback to bullpen personnel.
Address delays, documentation errors, or obstacles to maintain workflow.
Lead team development and align objectives with AirLife priorities and policies.
Oversee scheduling of outbound shipments and trailer rotations to maximize dock efficiency.
Ensure accuracy of shipping paperwork including BOLs, customs documentation, and logs.
Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
