Job summary

Liberty Pumps is seeking a Shipping Associate in New York to pick, prepare, and ship outgoing freight on time and in full while working in a team. The position requires the ability to lift up to 51 pounds and basic computer skills.

Warehousing experience is preferred, and employees must follow ISO 9001 requirements and maintain a clean, safe work area. Training and safety guidelines will be enforced.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; computer experience preferred.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, and/or a warehousing environment preferred.
• Ability to read simple instructions and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve products from the specified lines per the order pick list.
• Palletize items for shipment; may require use of tools such as a crimper.
• Double check prepared orders by reviewing the pick list and items on pallets.
• Band pick list items to pallets.
• Prepare shipping documents for pickup by the carrier as per customer PO and shipping instructions.
• Operate fork truck and hand pallet jack as necessary.
