Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a detail-oriented packaging and shipping clerk in Tooele, UT. You will prepare items for customer shipment, manage Navision transactions, and maintain inventory accuracy while coordinating freight and ensuring timely movement of materials.

The role requires 1–2 years in shipping/receiving, strong organization, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities align with a major DTNA operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years’ experience shipping and receiving admin/clerk or similar position.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Proficient with computers and basic MRP fundamentals.
• Ability to follow basic instructions and work without direct supervision.
• Parts handling and shipment tracking experience.
• Experience with Navision transactions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement/shipping of material identified on purchase orders.
• Coordinate all freight carriers and expedited shipments.
• Schedule large shipments and plan logistics for storage space.
• Prepare required shipping documents (BOL, packing lists, invoices).
• Verify part numbers against purchase orders.
• Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Maintain daily paperwork and production boards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean work area.
• Be flexible to move to various work areas as production demands.
• Occasionally work overtime, including weekends.
