Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a hands-on Receiving and Shipping team member to pick, verify, and stage material for shipment. You will operate Forklifts/Reach Trucks and lift up to 75–100 pounds, contributing to continuous improvement while upholding Daimler Values.

This onsite role requires basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to stand/walk throughout the shift, with safety as a top priority.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Operate Lift equipment to 24 feet and move parts up to 100 pounds.
• Criminal background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen required.
• Work in a fast-paced receiving/shipping environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick required quantity of material for processing.
• Pick and prepare material for shipment.
• Package material to protect parts in transit.
• Stage material for shipment and/or loads on trailer.
• Audit storage locations for quantity and resolve discrepancies.
• Operate voice-directed picking equipment.
• Operate forklifts and reach trucks to heights up to 24 feet.
• Lift/move parts up to 75–100 pounds unassisted.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow safety rules.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (TOS) ideas.
