Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Tooele, UT is seeking a Material Handler to move, store, and track materials safely across the facility. You will operate forklifts and logistics software, support production, and maintain inventory accuracy.

This role requires 1–2 years of material handling experience with reach truck certification, a high school diploma, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work overtime. Relocation is not provided; on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of material handling experience with reach truck certification.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and MRP.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and related material handling equipment safely.
• Conduct cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy.
• Enter material movements and production transactions in Navision.
• Complete daily paperwork and update production boards.
• Perform 5S audits and daily checklists.
• Suggest process improvements.
• Report safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with overtime as needed.
• Relocate between work areas per production needs.
• Participate in team huddles and communications.
