Job summary

Daimler Truck North America invites applicants for a warehouse Receiving/Shipping role in Las Vegas, NV. The position supports the Parts Distribution Center by receiving, verifying, and storing material, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work onsite, lift heavy parts, operate powered equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and can pass background and drug screens.

Qualifications

Basic mathematics skills.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently unassisted, pull/push and slide parts up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Stoop, bend, and twist frequently to complete tasks.
Stand/walk continuously during the shift, with breaks.
Operate Stand-up Reach Lifts and Man-Up Order Picker to heights up to 24 feet.

Responsibilities

Pick required quantity of material for processing.
Pick and prepare material for shipment.
Package material to ensure protection of parts in transit.
Stage material in proper locations for shipment and loads on trailer.
Audit storage locations for proper quantity and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Operate Voice Directed Picking Equipment.
Lift and move parts up to 75 pounds unassisted; pull/push and slide parts up to 100 pounds unassisted.
