Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Shipping Specialist to support daily shipping operations in our IGFG division. You will prepare shipments, generate Bills of Lading, packing lists, and other documentation, and coordinate with transportation providers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires forklift capability, attention to detail, and strong communication with internal teams. You will work in a warehouse environment and help maintain safety and efficiency across shipping activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Forklift operation ability or certification.
• Ability to communicate with headquarters, buyers, trucking companies, coworkers and managers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pulling stock orders for parcel and LTL shipments.
• Pick orders systematically to begin preparation of shipment documentation.
• Prepare Bills of Lading, packing lists, and other required shipping documents.
• Release sales orders for shipment.
• Utilize Precision software for LTL and parcel shipping activities.
• Reserve stock orders as needed.
• Contact truck lines to arrange collection for customer-assigned orders.
