Job summary

We are seeking an Materials Handler to move materials using forklifts and cranes, prepare shipping documents, and support lean Kanban workflows. The role requires basic computer skills and the ability to work well with a team.

Primary duties include labeling and packing, arranging shipments, and performing small painting tasks. This position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Over-head crane experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
• Must be able to read tape measure and other measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial vehicles and crane systems to move materials.
• Label, package, and ship materials per work instructions.
• Prepare export documents, bills of lading, packing lists, and forms.
• Use air and motor freight knowledge to select practical shipment methods.
• Prepare, expedite, dispatch, pick, and load shipments.
• Complete paperwork related to inspections and production reporting.
• Perform basic water-based painting.
