Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Haverhill, MA is seeking a shipping specialist to support our Industrial Gas Filtration & Generation division. You will process orders, maintain accurate inventory, and partner with a lean team to implement process improvements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of experience in shipping.
Forklift certification required or able to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Updates computer for all shipped customer orders to maintain accurate and current inventory balances.
Works with lean team to develop and implement process improvements in the area.
Creates standard work for key processes in the area.
Edits procedures in accordance with ISO criteria.
Ensures all export requirements are met before a package is shipped.
Engages in High Performance Team (HPT).
Ensures quality check-off procedures are followed and analyzes returns to prevent recurrence.
Monitors premium freight approvals before shipments.
Cross-trains and covers areas as needed (supermarket, consignment, shipping and receiving).
Other duties as assigned.
