Job summary

Associated Materials / Alside is seeking a Shipper to support our manufacturing facility in surprises, AZ. The role encompasses selecting and preparing materials for shipment, operating forklift and pallet rider, and ensuring accurate loading and inventory discipline.

Ideal candidates are safety minded, able to work overtime, and comfortable in a hot, fast-paced environment while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be safety oriented and able to operate scanning devices and enter shipping data.
• Willingness to work overtime and maintain accuracy in fast-paced settings.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick material for shipments.
• Load floor stacked and palletized material.
• Operate mobile equipment (pallet rider and forklift).
• Palletize product for loads and unload incoming shipments.
• Read and understand orders and cube trailers to fit materials.
• Manage multiple stop trailers and track cartons per truck/hour.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain 5-S housekeeping.
• Ensure loading quality and accurate inventory handling.
