Job summary

Principal Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in Broadview, IL. You will arrange transportation, schedule deliveries, and coordinate with production and customer relations to ensure on-time shipments.

The role requires shipping/transportation experience, knowledge of MS Office, and strong organizational and communication skills. Forklift experience is a plus; paid holidays, PTO, 401K matching, medical benefits and competitive hourly rates are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or related on-the-job experience.
• Shipping and transportation experience.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Knowledge of customer specifications and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule trucks for daily pick-ups and update daily schedules.
• Get quotes for shipping needs and prepare paperwork (UPS, DHL, FedEx).
• Coordinate with production, accounting and customer relations.
• Ensure shipments meet customer deadlines and cost targets.
• Manage international shipments and freight documentation.
