Job summary

Menasha Corporation in Alsip, IL is seeking a Shipping Clerk to assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. You will record shipment data, coordinate schedules, and create labels to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a High School diploma and some relevant experience. You will work with truck drivers and production teams to resolve issues and maintain accurate shipping records, while contributing to a safe, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and some relevant experience.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, labels, and carrier coordination.
• Ability to work with production lines and manage shipments and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Communicates instructions to checker/loaders, contracted truck drivers, and OTR carriers.
• Coordinates and executes shipping schedules, and dispatch local freight shipments.
• Creates shipping labels for paperwork received and contacts carrier to arrange shipment.
• Compares information and counts, weighs, or measures items to verify against records.
• Confers with managers to coordinate production lines and finished product.
• Prepares business reports as needed and maintains shipping records.
