Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in Forney, TX to oversee daily shipping and warehouse activities at the distribution center. You will manage shipments, coordinate with carriers, and ensure accurate documentation while supporting warehouse operations for cost efficiency and timely deliveries.

The role requires 3–5 years in shipping or distribution, proficiency with ERP/shipping tools, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of shipping/receiving/warehouse or distribution center operations experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Oracle, iPlan, or similar ERP/shipping systems.
• Experience in load planning and warehouse management systems (e.g., Manhattan Scale WMS) preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipments of finished goods and raw materials.
• Prepare Bills of Lading, packing slips and shipping docs; verify shipments.
• Schedule carrier pickups for LTL, TL and other freight.
• Monitor trailer utilization to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Track inbound/outbound shipments and maintain system records.
• Coordinate with Reynosa, MX shipping/receiving team as needed.
• Manage flow of incoming/outgoing shipments and dock activities.
• Log and track shipments to support inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet productivity targets and safety standards.
• Support SOPs and drive process improvements in DC operations.
