Job summary
Openwork is hiring a Shipping Receiving & Logistics Coordinator in Houston, TX. You will manage the day-to-day flow of materials, coordinate inbound and outbound freight, and oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications
- Requires knowledge of ERP systems and inventory transactions.
- Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Experience coordinating freight with carriers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute all shipping and receiving activities.
- Receive incoming materials and verify against POs and packing slips.
- Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and resolve as needed.
- Prepare outbound shipments with packaging, labeling, and carrier docs.
- Schedule inbound/outbound freight with carriers and customers.
- Obtain freight quotes and select transportation providers.
- Coordinate LTL, truckload, parcel, and expedited shipments.
- Track shipments and address delivery issues.
- Maintain shipping docs and transportation records.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Record ERP transactions for receipts, shipments, transfers.
