Job summary

Oldcastle Building Envelope in Terrell, TX is seeking a Shipping Loader/Unloader for day shifts to prepare products for delivery. You will assemble, label, weigh, and pack items while supporting the shipping and receiving workflow on a busy shop floor.

The role rewards good attendance, mechanical aptitude, and accuracy, with potential for raises and bonuses as you help ensure timely shipments and product quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform packing and labeling tasks.
• Willingness to perform clerical tasks with shop floor computer.

Responsibilities

• Assembling boxes, crates, or containers.
• Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment
• Weighing, measuring and counting product
• Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors' specifications, ensuring that the crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed
• Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment
• Conducting inspections to examine products and make sure they meet our specifications for quality and aren't damage
