Job summary

JBS USA is hiring a Shipping Lead Team Member to oversee a warehouse team and ensure safe, efficient shipping operations. The role involves coordinating with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to meet targets while upholding GMP/SQF standards.

The position emphasizes hands-on supervision, training, and continuous improvement on a fast-paced food processing site in Ohio. The role is on-site with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a plant setting
• Knowledge of inventory management functions
• Ability to safely operate all warehouse equipment
• WMS and barcode scanning familiarity

Responsibilities

• Overseeing a team of employees to achieve business results.
• Achieves warehouse targets in a safe and efficient manner.
• Coordinates warehouse activities with procurement, maintenance, warehouse, and quality departments to achieve results.
• Supports warehouse personnel by maintaining a visible presence on the warehouse floor.
• Maintains an engaged and team-oriented workforce.
• Ensures plant Safety, GMP and SQF programs are followed.
• Provides training on company policies, rules, regulations and duties.
• Monitors and enforces adherence to GMPs and specifications; maintains sanitation and quality.
