Job summary

Bimboqsr in Ohio is seeking a shipping supervisor for a 3rd shift to oversee the loading and distribution of products, ensuring safety and accuracy in all shipments. You will lead the shipping team, coordinate with production, and monitor daily logistics activities to maintain timely deliveries.

The role requires experience in high-volume environments, strong computer skills (Word/Excel), and the ability to work extended shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 2 to 3 years of prior experience in high-volume manufacturing or supply-chain environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work around and with various food machinery equipment.
• Physical ability to work 8+ hour shifts and lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment compliant with BQ, OSHA, and government policies.
• Plan, organize, direct and control shipping department work and expedite workflow.
• Verify order accuracy by reviewing sales orders and auditing filled orders.
• Conduct daily huddles and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Provide equipment to production lines and assist with equipment inventories.
• Complete OTM entries for Shipping and process daily paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with associates and maintain teamwork.
• Maintain confidentiality of personal or company information.
• Be willing to work irregular/rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
