Job summary

Westaff is hiring a Bilingual Packing Lead Assistant for a manufacturing client in SW Indy. The role blends hands-on packing, training, and daily production support, with pay at $24/hour and a 5:00AM-3:30PM, Mon-Fri schedule.

You will assist the Packing Lead with staffing, train new employees, cover packing positions during breaks, and ensure orders are properly packaged while maintaining a safe, organized workplace and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking).
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.
• Ability to guide team members fairly and effectively.
• Ability to teach employees current and new work procedures.
• Clear communication and respectful handling of workplace disagreements.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety rules.

Westaff is hiring a Bilingual Packing Lead Assistant for a manufacturing client. If you have manufacturing experience, communicate fluently in English and Spanish, and enjoy helping coworkers learn the job, this position offers a mix of hands-on packing work, employee training, and daily production support.

You’ll work alongside the Packing Lead to keep the packing department running smoothly. This includes helping coordinate daily staffing, training new employees, making sure orders are packaged correctly, and covering packing positions during breaks or absences. This is an hourly position reporting to a Supervisor.
