Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Shipping Lead to supervise the daily fulfillment operations. You will monitor order routing, inspect shipments, and resolve issues while ensuring accurate logging and timely loading of orders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information is logged accurately daily.
• Ensure shipments are loaded timely and accurately.
• Maintain safety, quality, housekeeping and sanitation programs as applicable.
• Open/Close the floor and support associates as needed.

Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:45am to 5:30pmSummary:The Shipping Lead assists in supervising the daily functions of our fast pace fulfillment department by meeting daily customer/client demands. They are responsible for keeping up to date on all small carrier changes, regulations and customer needs. Job duties may also include picking, packaging, keeping traceability on all inventory, opening and/or closing the floor daily.Responsibilities:Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders.Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders.Investigate issues regarding shipped orders.Ensure information is accurately logged daily.Ensure shipments are loaded timely and accurately.Maintain safety, security, quality, housekeeping and sanitation programs, as applicable.Follows and assists in enforcing employee compliance to Standard Operating Procedures, policies, work rules or guidelines, and safety/health regulations.Act as a resource on operations matters, providing guidance, assistance and support associates.Open/Close the floor.Other duties as assigned.Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Requirements:Shipping experienceDesire for continuous improvement and growthExperience in customer service and computers or equivalent trainingWriting, math and communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to manage small projects and work independentlyStrong decision makingOrganizational skills and detailed oriented with a quality mindsetAbility to work within a deadline and handle interruptionsAbility to stand and walk for long periods, climb ladders, reach overhead and lift up to 30 to 50 lbs occasionally
