Job summary

Responsibilities

Reports To: Warehouse SupervisorPOSITION SUMMARY: The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the warehouse operations is operating efficiently and productively. This role will take lead on shift tasks and supports the guidance from the Warehouse Supervisor to drive efficiency and productivity in coordination with leadership and warehouse floor team members.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows warehouse operational procedures including sorting, loading/unloading activities, shipment processing and documentation, manifesting, packaging, and sending shipment status information.Operates a forklift (or other equipment) to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.Responsible for maintaining safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.Motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.Evaluates, prioritizes, deploys, and completes the daily work.Picks, packs, and ships orders accurately and efficiently.Maintains a clean and orderly workspace.Puts away miss picks and cancelled orders daily.Ensures workstations are stocked with supplies and tools.Trains all new hires within area of responsibility.Reinforces SOPs and best practices.
