Job summary

Auto-Chlor System in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Shipping Lead to organize the daily shipping operation, coordinate freight, and ensure accurate preparation and dispatch of parts nationwide.

The role is hands-on and requires forklift experience, leadership of a small Shipping/Material Handling team, and meticulous records management; work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Now Hiring: Shipping Lead

Location: 746 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38105

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | $22–$30/hour, depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Shipping Lead to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on lead position responsible for helping organize the daily shipping operation and ensuring parts and equipment are accurately prepared and shipped to our locations nationwide.

You will work alongside a small Shipping/Material Handling team, helping prioritize orders, assign daily tasks, coordinate freight shipments, and ensure outgoing orders are complete and accurate before they leave the facility.

What You'll Do:

• Organize and prioritize daily shipping orders.
• Provide day-to-day direction to Shipping/Material Handling team members.
• Assign tasks for pulling, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Review outgoing shipments as the final quality check to ensure the correct products and quantities are being shipped.
• Complete and maintain shipping records and documentation.
• Process shipping and inventory transactions within company systems.
• Communicate with freight carriers and coordinate pickups as needed.
• Assist with pulling, packing, stocking, and moving materials throughout the facility.
• Operate a standard sit-down forklift.
• Assist with inventory counts and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience.
• Previous experience leading or providing day-to-day direction to warehouse/shipping employees.
• Experience operating a standard sit-down forklift is required.
• Experience working with freight carriers, including coordinating or scheduling shipments.
• Working knowledge of shipping records and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify order and shipment accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize multiple orders and keep the shipping area organized.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on role alongside the team.

Pay: $22–$30/hour, depending on relevant shipping, freight, forklift, and leadership experience.
