We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lead Shipper to join our 1st shift shipping department team. This role is for a proactive and experienced individual who can manage shipping operations, with a strong emphasis on international logistics and customer service. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Manage international shipping procedures, including documentation, customs forms, and compliance.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer service inquiries related to shipping, tracking, and delivery issues.
• Operate FedEx or UPS shipping software to process packages and generate labels.
• Handle and prepare shipments of hazardous materials or metal goods, if applicable.
• Perform start-up and shut-down procedures for shipping equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Complete necessary shipping documentation and reporting.
• Work effectively with team members and leadership to meet shipping goals.

Compensation

Skills & Qualifications
