Job summary

# Shipping LeadDCPEN - Carlisle, PA 17015## Description**Shift Information**: Z Shift (Monday - Friday) 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM**Responsibilities Include:*** Complete the pre-shift checklist (e.g., turn on chucks, gather supplies and materials, etc.).* Work in coordination with the supervisor to assign daily priorities and participate in shift meetings.* Partner with supervisor to identify root causes of exception and QC diverts. Communicate all performance issues to the supervisor.* Inspect outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.* Track quality variances and identify when other process improvements are needed.* Partner with an on-site trainer to mentor new employees. Ensure that SOPs and DC policies are being followed.* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.* Dress Code-Specifics Required* Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.* Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.* When volume demands, pick customer orders for shipment, ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked.
