Job summary

Distribution Management is seeking a Z shift warehouse associate to support daily operations in our Kentucky facility. You will complete pre-shift checks, coordinate with the supervisor, and help prioritize daily tasks while ensuring accuracy in outbound shipments.

You will inspect shipments, track quality variances, mentor new employees, follow SOPs, maintain a clean work area, and comply with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a stable work history in a distribution center or warehouse.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Complete the pre-shift checklist and prepare equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisor to assign daily priorities.
• Identify root causes of exceptions and QC diverts.
• Inspect outbound shipments for accuracy and quality.

Shift Information: Z Shift (Monday - Friday) 2:30 PM - 11:00 PMResponsibilities Include:Complete the pre-shift checklist (e.g., turn on chucks, gather supplies and materials, etc.).Work in coordination with the supervisor to assign daily priorities and participate in shift meetings.Partner with supervisor to identify root causes of exception and QC diverts. Communicate all performance issues to the supervisor.Inspect outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.Track quality variances and identify when other process improvements are needed.Partner with an on-site trainer to mentor new employees. Ensure that SOPs and DC policies are being followed.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Dress Code-Specifics RequiredAssist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.When volume demands, pick customer orders for shipment, ensure that the correct number and type of product is picked.
