Job summary

Arxada is seeking a Shipping & Inventory Specialist in Mapleton, IL to coordinate shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and support transportation activities. You will partner with warehouse, operations, customer service, production, and logistics teams to drive on-time delivery and process improvements.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory management, or related operations preferred.
• Proficiency with WMS, SAP, ERP platforms, and transportation management tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate inventory/shipping documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments to customers, distribution centers, and warehouses while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Verify order accuracy and resolve shipping, inventory, and logistics issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through shipment verification and cycle count activities.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to support operational accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Process stock transfers and coordinate shipments to external warehouse locations.
• Collaborate across warehouse, operations, and logistics teams to improve shipment quality and timeliness.
• Support safe working practices and contribute to a culture of compliance, accountability, and operational excellence.
