Job summary

Eastman in Virginia is seeking a warehouse logistics associate to manage shipments, process SAP transactions, and support daily material moves. The role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and runs on a daytime schedule with potential overtime.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with SAP, SharePoint, Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Knowledge of basic logistics and carriers.
• Ability to calculate square feet and area.

Responsibilities

• Day shift position reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Manage and schedule shipments
• Process all shipments in SAP for the Warehouse
• Print and attach all necessary paperwork to the shipments
• Schedule carriers
• Correspond with Customer Service and Logistics Support
• Assist floor operators with material movements and loading/unloading of carriers
• Receive in material in SAP and apply proper labels to material (direct and indirect)
• Perform inventory count of supplies needed at various plants
• Operate PIT equipment
