Job summary

Alleghany Warehouse Company is seeking a detail-oriented inventory/shipping associate to process shipments and receipts at a company-managed facility in Virginia. You will handle inbound/outbound loads, maintain SAP shipping records, and coordinate with supervision to ensure accurate paperwork and efficient operations.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED; and/or related experience.
• 1–3 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Proficiency with basic office software and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily Shipping in SAP.
• Process inbound and outbound loads.
• Verify accuracy of all warehouse paperwork.
• Communicate with Operations Supervisors and Team Leaders.
• Organize inventory withdrawals into truckloads.
• Report daily shipping and receiving activity.
• Monitor mail, e-mail and fax for incoming loads; print paperwork.
