Job summary

Laars Heating Systems in Rochester, NH is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead daily shipping, spare parts fulfillment, and distribution coordination, ensuring orders are processed accurately, efficiently, safely, and on time.

You will supervise the Distribution Coordinators and Spare Parts Fulfillment department, coordinate with production, purchasing, planning, customer service, quality, and carriers to meet delivery commitments, service expectations, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or coursework in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Typically requires 5+ years of experience in shipping, distribution, or logistics.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience in shipping/warehouse environments.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and carrier systems, Epicor preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of Distribution Coordinators, Spare Parts Fulfillment, and Shipping.
• Plan, assign, and prioritize daily work to ensure on-time processing of orders and shipments.
• Oversee ordering, packing, labeling, staging, and shipment release activities.
• Ensure outbound shipments are properly documented and compliant with requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to optimize freight schedules and delivery.
• Review bills of lading, packing slips, and freight documentation for accuracy.
• Monitor key performance metrics such as order accuracy and on-time shipments.
• Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies and inventory issues.
• Support spare parts fulfillment with timely processing and accurate inventory movement.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP and related systems.
