Job summary

WL Plastics is seeking a Shipping Fork Lift Operator in Lubbock, TX, to unload/load customer product, inspect items, and place them in the storage yard. You will operate yard equipment and work under the Shipping Supervisor in a manufacturing facility.

You must have at least 1 year in a warehouse or manufacturing setting, be able to read and write, and work safely in outdoor conditions. The role requires weekend hours, strong teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing, and basic math related to the job.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work safely in production environments and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts or front-end loaders; forklift certification possible.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load customer product and place it in the storage yard as directed.
• Inspect product and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Operate yard heavy equipment safely following company guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Coordinate with quality assurance and maintenance to support operations.
• Inventory and label shipments and assist with loading according to shipping orders.
• Support inbound and outbound activities as required.
