Job summary

WL Plastics in Bowie, TX is seeking a Fork Truck Operator to load/unload and move product in the yard and warehouse. You will inspect, stage, and store materials, operate yard forklifts, and follow safety procedures under the Shipping Supervisor.

The role requires basic math, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work outdoors with flex hours. Training provided; WL Plastics promotes from within.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, outdoor setting preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and basic math skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load customer product and place it in storage area.
• Operate yard heavy equipment and forklifts safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Coordinate with Shipping Supervisor and other departments for efficient loading/unloading.
• Ensure compliance with company safety rules and ISO/9001 procedures.
• Inventory and label products per loading guidelines and move them to storage areas.
