Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–2 years forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Ability to obtain forklift operator certification; broad knowledge of DC methods and procedures.
• Ability to understand daily goals and maximize warehouse capacity; familiarity with product catalog numbers and handling characteristics.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for forklift operations; strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to work in a scanner-directed environment and meet productivity and quality standards.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate a stand-up forklift all shift; tolerate extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Operate dock stockers, reach trucks, turret trucks, and forklifts to load and transport products in the warehouse.
• Complete orders by processing pick tickets, performing full pallet picking, and shuttling pallets for final processing.
• Interact with management software and label printers; read work orders to determine assignments and material needs.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and maintain a clean, safe work area; support cross-training in other DC functions.
