Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Northlake, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator - Shipping to join our distribution team. You will operate dock stockers, reach trucks, turret trucks, and forklifts to load and transport products within the warehouse.

You’ll process pick tickets, handle full pallet picking, and shuttle pallets for final order processing. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years forklift experience, and the ability to obtain forklift operator certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Ability to obtain forklift operator certification.
• Broad knowledge of distribution center methods and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment, including dock stockers, reach trucks, turret trucks, and forklifts to efficiently load and transport products within the warehouse.
• Complete orders in a timely manner by processing pick tickets, full pallet picking, and shuttling pallets for final order processing.
• Interact with management software systems and label printers; read work orders or receive instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
• Perform physical activities requiring lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and safe material handling.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning parts and keeping the area clean and safe.
• Support cross-training in other distribution center functions and carry out daily forklift inspections.
