Job summary

JBS USA in Colorado is seeking a team member to operate and maintain automated scale systems, perform manual scaling at the reweigh station, and assist with case handling and loading. You will lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift, and follow strict safety and quality policies.

You will work in a cold environment, participate in daily sanitation, and support inventory accuracy by submitting scale adjustment reports. Regular attendance and reliability are expected in this production role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English.
• Able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction and percentages.
• Ability to pass a Prove It test.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Forklift and pallet jack license or ability to obtain.
• Able to work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate general operation and basic maintenance of the auto scale.
• Perform manual scaling at the reweigh station and assist with basic maintenance.
• Stack boxes 45-50 pounds on pallets by product code.
• Assist with rework by repairing cases or identifying returns.
• Submit daily scale adjustment reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness through daily sanitation.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Load trucks with equipment and boxes up to 50 pounds per case.
• Fill customer orders accurately using Telxon equipment.

++ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES++

1. Responsible for the general operation and a basic maintenance of the auto scale.
2. Performs manual scaling at the reweigh station, including general operation and basic maintenance.
3. Constant repetition of stacking boxes weighing 45-50 pounds on pallets which are segregated by product code
4. Assists with rework by either repairing the cases or identifying cases for return.
5. Assures inventory accuracy by submitting daily scale adjustment reports.
6. Keep area clean by performing daily general sanitation.
7. Operates forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
8. Loads trucks both with equipment and by hand which vary in weight up to 50 pounds per case.
9. Ability to fill customer orders accurately using Telxon equipment.

• Ability to work in a cold environment
• Ability to learn new procedures, i.e. bar code scanner, equipment, stacking grids
• Familiarity with computer system
• Ability to work variable hours and excellent attendance required

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid time off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): eligible after 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• $26.25/hr base rate
