Wynalda Packaging, LLC is seeking a Shipping Coordinator for the 2nd shift to manage shipments and guide our logistics workflow in Michigan. You will interact with clients and couriers, prepare quotes, and oversee documentation to ensure on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes accurate records, multitasking, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with occasional overtime. A forklift background is preferred, and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience using a forklift is strongly preferred.
• Computer literacy required.
• Flexible work hours (ability to stay late if needed for a truck).
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work well in a face-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and shippers and resolve any complaints.
• Prepare shipping quotes for customers.
• Negotiate shipping fees with couriers.
• Accurately prepare shipping documentation following customer-specific shipping requirements.
• Keep a meticulous record of shipment information.
• Work with members of the shipping team to ensure all requests are handled promptly and goods are shipped on time and/or stored properly.
• Assist with general Shipping Clerk job functions
