Monroechamber in Wisconsin is seeking a Shipping Coordinator for 1st or 2nd shift (7:00am–3:00pm or 3:00pm–11:00pm) in a temp-to-hire role in Waupun, WI. Wage is $20.50/hour with a $1/hour shift premium.

Ideal candidates have shipping/receiving experience, basic forklift ability, and strong attention to detail. You will prepare, verify, and process outgoing shipments, create shipping documents, enter data in SAP, coordinate various transportation modes, and support the Shipping Supervisor to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate or become certified to operate a forklift.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of shipping systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle shipping materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and process outgoing shipments.
• Check product quantities, weights, labels, and shipping information for accuracy.
• Create and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, shipping labels and advance shipping notices.
• Coordinate shipments using various transportation methods, including LTL, parcel, expedited, air, and ocean freight.
• Enter and maintain shipping information in SAP and other computer systems.
• Monitor customer requirements and ensure shipments meet all specifications.
• Track and manage returnable containers and communicate with customers regarding inventory levels.
• Load, unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, hand jacks, hoists, and other equipment.
• Assemble, band, and shrink-wrap shipments for safe transportation.
• Inspect shipments before departure to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain shipping supplies and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with production, receiving, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Assist with shipping department operations and provide backup support for the Shipping Supervisor when needed.
