Job description

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator - 2nd Shift to join their 2nd shift team! The rate for this position is $23.13 per hour along with a $0.50/hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

What you’ll do:

• Work in distribution area utilizing mobile equipment.
• Utilize basic math.
• Work independently and in a team.
• Communicate effectively.
• Utilize computers and scanners.
• Operate a stand-up lift.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates who currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Highland, IL will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Previous experience using computers.
• Previous experience operating Powered Industrial Equipment (i.e. stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, crane, combi-lift, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Shipping and Receiving experience.
• Experience driving mobile equipment.
• Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing, production, or distribution experience.

Skills:

Position Criteria:

• Available to work overtime as required.
• Forklift experience.
• Basic math skills, being able to write legibly, and read notes on order.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Proficiently use computers and scanners.
