Granite-Tops/Stone Countertop Outlet in Cold Spring, MN is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to prepare countertops and materials for delivery and installation. You will load countertops on correct A-frames, secure materials for transport, stage items for residential, commercial, and prefab projects, and coordinate with project teams to meet schedules.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, with good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, construction, or the stone industry is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Load and prepare stone countertops on the correct A-frames for daily installation and delivery schedules.
• Secure materials safely for transportation.
• Pull, stage, and organize materials for residential, commercial, and prefab projects.
• Load plumbing materials and installation supplies.
• Maintain an organized loading and staging area.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Production staff, and Install Teams regarding material handling and project needs.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials.
• Assist with local deliveries or material pickups when needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and safe material handling procedures.

Do you enjoy staying organized, working with equipment, and making sure things are in the right place at the right time?

Granite-Tops is looking for a dependable and motivated Shipping Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing stone countertops and materials for delivery and installation. Your attention to detail helps ensure our customers receive the right product, on time, every time.

Schedule

• Regular schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Overtime on Fridays may be required based on production and business needs.

What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Constant standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry materials and occasionally lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to safely move and handle heavy stone materials using team lifting techniques and material handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and carts, whenever practical.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
