Job summary

United Talent Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support shipping and receiving operations in a Clarksburg, WV warehouse. This role assists the Shipping Supervisor with scheduling, documentation, data entry, and communication to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience, proficiency with MS Word/Excel, and familiarity with WMS/Macola.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, bills of lading, and shipping and receiving procedures.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), Macola, and digital document scanning.
• Knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping procedures.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accurate data entry.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and labels according to company and customer requirements.
• Track driver arrival and departure times and follow up on missed or late carrier appointments.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal departments to coordinate shipments and resolve scheduling issues.
• Prepare and print shipping schedules and paperwork for upcoming shifts and the following business day.
• Process incoming shipments, outgoing samples, parcels, and drop shipments according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate shipping records, digitally scan and save documents, and record shortages or other shipment discrepancies.
• Review work orders and shipping information for accuracy and proper status.
• Work with inventory, dock, and transportation personnel to resolve inventory and shipping discrepancies.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing products and packaging for quality.
• Assist dock personnel when properly trained and certified.
• Maintain dependable attendance, participate in required training, and follow all company safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• 1st Shift:7:30 AM–3:30 PM Monday - Friday (NO WEEKENDS)
• Pay:$15.00 per hour
