Job summary
United Talent Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support shipping and receiving operations in our Clarksburg, WV warehouse. The role involves assisting the Shipping Supervisor with scheduling, documentation, data entry, and communication to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time.
The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience, knowledge of shipping documents and WMS (Macola), and familiarity with UPS/FedEx procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Familiarity with shipping documents, bills of lading, and procedures.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) such as Macola and digital scanning.
- Knowledge of UPS and FedEx shipping procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, and labels.
- Track driver arrival and follow up on carrier appointments.
- Coordinate shipments with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
- Prepare and print shipping schedules and paperwork for shifts.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments according to procedures.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and scan documents.
- Review work orders for accuracy and status.
- Resolve inventory/shipping discrepancies with relevant teams.
- Monitor inbound/outbound product packaging for quality.
- Assist dock staff when trained and certified.
- Maintain attendance and follow safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
