Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and label customer orders for shipment and local delivery.
• Use UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager to process outbound shipments.
• Review work orders and coordinate with Quality Control to prioritize shipments.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips, checking quantities and part numbers.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and organizing incoming materials.
• Perform protective packaging (bagging, boxing, shrink-wrapping, palletizing, banding).
• Stock and organize inventory to maintain accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Communicate with team, management, customers, and delivery personnel to resolve shipping issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized warehouse.
• Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.

About the Position:

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Temporary Shipping Clerk to provide coverage during an employee’s paternity leave. • Experience with customer shipping portals preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints highly preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, consistent attendance, and a good work ethic.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
